What counts as a document?

Each file you submit to the pipeline counts as one document. Re-processing the same file counts again. Validator checks are free and unlimited.

What happens if I go over my monthly limit?

We process the extra documents and charge EUR 0.05 per document above your tier, up to 2x your tier volume. If you exceed 2x we contact you to upgrade. You are never silently rejected.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and SEPA direct debit for EU businesses. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice (NET 30).

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancel from the billing page with one click. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. No cancellation fees.

Is there a truly free tier?

Yes. The Developer plan is permanently free: 50 documents/month, API access, and full pipeline output including PDF/A-3B and embedded XML. No credit card required.

Can I switch plans mid-month?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Where is my data stored?

All data is processed and stored in EU datacenters. We do not use US hyperscalers (no AWS, Azure, or GCP). Documents are deleted after your retention window expires.

What is a retention window?

The period your processed files and Evidence Packs are kept in our system before automatic deletion. Starter: 7 days. Pro: 30 days. Enterprise: configurable up to ARCHIEFWET_20Y (20 years). You can export everything at any time.
