Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the API in Invoice and Platform?
The API in SealDoc Invoice creates invoices from your own software, up to 500 a month. Platform is for larger volumes and also processes documents: conversion to PDF/A-3, OCR and Legal Evidence Packs.
What counts as a document?
A document you upload through document processing counts as one document. If you process the same file again, it counts again. The free validator on the site does not count.
What happens at my monthly limit?
SealDoc Invoice stops at its monthly limit, with no extra costs. Developer never costs anything. On Platform we keep processing extra documents for €0.05 per document, up to twice your volume. Invoices stop at the limit in every plan.
How do I pay?
You check out in a secure payment environment. With the first payment you give a mandate; after that we collect automatically, monthly or yearly.
Can I cancel?
Yes, in the app, on the subscription page. Collection stops immediately and your plan runs until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, two. Free from SealDoc Invoice: 5 e-invoices a month, in the browser. Developer: a free API key with 5 invoices and 50 documents a month. Both without a credit card.
Can I switch in the middle of the month?
Yes. Another paid plan takes effect immediately, up or down. Nothing is prorated per day: the new amount applies from the next collection.
Where is my data stored?
On European infrastructure we manage ourselves. If you choose your own storage with Enterprise, you decide where your data is stored.
