The SealDoc app is coming: invoice and scan from your phone

The job is done, you are still at the customer’s, and the invoice can go out right away. Soon you will no longer need to go back to your laptop for that. The SealDoc app is coming to iPhone and Android, and is now in its final testing phase.

It is the same SealDoc you know, with the same account, the same customers and the same invoices. What you create in the app is immediately in the web app too, and the other way round.

An invoice in a few steps

You choose the customer, fill in the lines and check the result. The app knows your products and services, calculates the VAT per line, and applies your defaults: your payment term, your VAT rate and your bank details. If you have set up automatic numbering, SealDoc assigns the invoice number for you.

The result is the same invoice as in the web app: a PDF/A-3 with the XML inside, in the invoice template you chose. If something needs to be reversed, you create a credit note from that same invoice.

Scanning with your camera

The work order the customer just signed, or the receipt for the materials: you scan them with your phone’s camera. The app recognises the document, crops it and straightens it, so it reads like a scan from an office scanner.

Everything you scan then appears in Files, in the web app as well.

Invoice and work order in one email

From the invoice you send it to your customer by email, and you choose the documents that go along: the work order, the quote, a document you scanned earlier. Your customer gets everything in one email, with your company name as the sender. Also read why those documents belong next to the invoice and not inside it.

With every send, SealDoc records which documents went along. So later you know exactly what you sent with the invoice.

Secure on your phone

You sign in with the same account as in the web app. The app locks with Face ID or your fingerprint, so your invoices and customer details are not left open on your screen when your phone is briefly out of your hands.

Your data is stored with SealDoc in Europe, just as with the web app.

In eight languages

The app speaks Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Czech, just like the web app. You create your invoices in your customer’s language.
